It is the module that structures the management of training and certification for contractor companies' workers. It lets you define which courses are mandatory for each profile, monitor expiry dates and maintain shared real-time visibility between the hiring company and the contractor.

How is this different from managing training as a document requirement?

Unlike a generic document requirement, the Training module structures courses by worker profile, risk or activity, calculates expiry dates automatically and generates alerts before they lapse. The hiring company can define consistent criteria across its whole operation, and the contractor handles renewals directly in the platform.

How does the online course assessment work?

The worker completes the course and sits an assessment with a configurable pass mark. Certain critical questions fail the assessment automatically if answered incorrectly, regardless of the overall score. Failed attempts do not reveal the correct answers and require reviewing the content before trying again.

Can contractors manage their employees' training independently?

Yes. Contractors see the training status of all their workers in real time. Each worker completes their courses online directly in the platform and receives alerts before any training expires, with no need for the hiring company's health and safety team to act as intermediary.

What happens when a certificate is about to expire?

Twind automatically alerts both the hiring company and the contractor before the expiry date. The contractor can renew the training directly in the platform before it affects the worker's compliance status.

Does this module replace the contractor's legally required training?

No. Statutory training — a certified work at height course, for example — remains the contractor's responsibility. The Training module lets you additionally require them to learn and pass an assessment on your own internal safety protocols for those same tasks.
